STUDENT PROGRESSION

FEEL IT.
SEE IT. OWN IT.

Progress is more than completing a level. It is the ability to understand the movement, recognise the outcome and reproduce the skill with less dependence on instruction.

THE LEARNING PROCESS

WHAT PROGRESSION
LOOKS LIKE.

A stronger student becomes more aware, adaptable and independent—not just able to perform one drill under one set of conditions.

01

FEEL THE CHANGE

Translate technical ideas into simple sensations and actions you can identify while moving.

02

SEE THE MOVEMENT

Use video to connect your internal sensation with the visible outcome.

03

REPEAT WITH PURPOSE

Know what you are practising, why it matters and what success should feel like.

04

ADAPT ON SNOW

Carry the movement into longer runs, changing terrain, different speeds and real mountain decisions.

COACHING OUTCOME

THE AIM IS
INDEPENDENCE.

Coaching should gradually improve your ability to make useful decisions without needing a new instruction for every turn.

  • Recognise when balance or pressure is changing
  • Understand how turn shape manages speed
  • Choose an appropriate movement focus for the terrain
  • Use feedback without becoming overloaded by technical detail
  • Reflect on what changed between attempts
  • Carry one useful cue into independent practice

STUDENT STORIES

DIFFERENT STARTS.
ONE PROGRESSION MINDSET.

Students begin with different ages, histories, confidence levels and goals. The common thread is a structured process that makes the next step understandable.

“Starting later in life, Edward found that simulator training helped him understand the movements before taking them to snow. The structured approach built confidence and made the mountain experience feel more manageable.”
Edward LichnockAdult snowboard student
“After learning largely on his own, Philip valued the detailed observation and corrections that improved posture, turn quality and confidence. He especially appreciated understanding why the changes worked.”
Philip TehSnowboard student
“Pamela described Andrew as encouraging and observant. Focused coaching helped her work through uncertainty on toe edge and develop more confidence in linking turns.”
Pamela LimSnowboard student
“Iffah valued the combination of technical foundations and an enjoyable learning environment. The sessions made difficult movements feel more approachable.”
Iffah AhmadSnowboard student
